The Golf Attractions Of Boca Raton City

Florida is synonymous with beautiful attractions. Among these attractions is Boca Raton, a city in Palm Beach County. It lies in between the shoreline of Palm Beach and the shoreline of Fort Lauderdale. It is a beautiful city accommodating both the love of introverts for small and the love of extroverts for big.

The City boasts of up to 1500 miles of beautiful parks and hiking paths. The hotels are exquisite and offer a relief from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city. Food and the night life scene are heart-warming and welcoming. The people are warm and the beaches memorable. The crown of the city is, however, in its numerous and memorable golf courses scattered all over.

There are over 34 golf courses in the city. It is easy to encounter difficulties in choosing one to visit. Most golf courses are privately owned and run while others are run by the public. Those that are run by the public belong to the municipal. One of them is the Municipal Golf course. It consists of championship and executive courses.

They are located at a convenient spot just a few miles from the exit of Glades Road. The championship course exhibits 18 holes and 6,714 yards and an executive course with a 8 hole and 1877 yard space and a par of 30. The setting is green manicured lawns with fairways, beautiful trees and winding lakes. There are also numerous private owned golf programs in this city.

The Polo Club golf course measures 6, 253 yards in size, and has twelve water hazards and eighteen holes. The slope is 128 and a par of 71. Golfing for all skill levels is accepted. Stonebridge Golf Club is a private course with eighteen holes and 6,808 yards of space. There are six tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels including beginners and experts. Besides, there is the field for practice.

For country club fans, there are many clubs that offer golfing. Woodfield Country Club is a semi private managed course with 18 holes in a country club setting with an atmosphere of a resort. Bocaire Country Club is residential and located in the suburbs. It is for members only and boasts of two championship courses among other amenities.

Another privately managed country club is St. Andrews Country Club. It hosts the Arnold Palmer golf course named in the memory of Arnold Palmer. The course measures 6526 yards measured from the longest tees. It has eighteen holes for golf and a set of six tees for novice and professional golfers. The greens as well as the fairways have Bermuda grass. It is a member only club.

There are numerous other golf courses in this City. Both visitors and residents will find the courses enjoyable and memorable. It is prudent to first call the golf course and determine whether they are open or closed membership. In addition, whether the golf items such as clubs or carts are available for hire or whether you have to bring your own. Always book, the tee spaces may not be always free.
